Countesswells

Countesswells is a multi-award-winning new community development located on the western edge of Aberdeen with easy access to the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. This sustainable development will comprise over 3,000 new homes, two primary schools, an academy, leisure and healthcare facilities, along with retail and commercial hubs all linked by a high-quality urban realm and extensive landscaping.

From its initial conception, the vision for Countesswells was highly ambitious. This was to be no ordinary development. The challenge was to create a vibrant neighbourhood with a real sense of character that would immediately become a desirable place to live.

Fairhurst has been part of the development team from the outset, working hand in hand with the original masterplan Developer/Client, Architect, Planning Consultant and Utilities Specialists to make the vision a reality.

Our expertise in infrastructure design helped maximise development potential and ‘unlock’ parcels of land which might otherwise have been considered unsuitable for development, thus assisting our client to improve the overall yield of the project.
